Yes!!! Watching the race from home was awesome, but I really appreciate your on the ground perspective. And bringing up the fact that the vibe was men taking the default caregiving role🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. So so so many races I go to it’s women pushing strollers, wrangling kids, and it’s nice to know that in Kona yesterday, it was the men taking on care tasks so that the ladies could fulfill their racing passion. It’s good for everyone to see that...especially the kids ☺️
Great race, truly great race. I loved seeing Lucy get what she has been trying for for so long. Everything about the race and racing was awesome. Great commentary from you too! Only downside was staying up to 2a.m. where I am to see the finish. I'm too old for that! Loved loved loved seeing the women have their spot in the sun. Was really a great Championship!
