I happened to be in Kona last week and swam the course. Lots of triathletes, lots of testosterone, lots of posing. As for the dolphins, my friend who lives the has seen them plenty. Even once saw a manta ray. Sounds amazing, nut if i ever saw that i might poop my pants..l the best i can say ever happened to me was almost bumping into a turtle… i have no predictions! And as an older woman i still would love to compete in Kona. To me nothing beats the islnd vibes.
