You're bang on with pretty much all your points. I do think it is Jack/TTH doing weekly pods, not PTN. The Hayden shoes story is hilariously dumb. Shoes being legal then not legal then legal again in the span of a month is nonsense. Triathlon needs better written rules (on shoes and so many other things like snow shovel front ends).
